Abbey Hesser is a lifelong horsewoman and trainer with over 30 years of experience developing confident, capable horses and riders

With a foundation in hunter/jumper and equitation, Abbey has spent recent years focused on restarting and producing sport horses with an eye toward eventing, where she brings a thoughtful and methodical approach to building brave, balanced athletes. Now based at The Gait, Abbey specializes in green horse development and custom training programs for riders of all levels.  Her philosophy is rooted in building strength, rideability, and partnerships from the ground up — with attention to the physiological, mental, and emotional well-being of each horse and rider.

Brittany Burson joined Equestrian Events as an independent dressage trainer in 2018. Brittany is an FEI dressage rider and trainer who has earned her Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals on her own self-trained horses.

With her current horse, JazzDance, Brittany has earned multiple Regional and National events as well as a 12th place finish at the 2015 USEF Developing Horse Championships. Brittany has participated in clinics with Debbie McDonald, Jan Ebeling, Gerhard Politz, Natalie Lamping, Janet Foy, Betsy Steiner, and Sandi Chohany.
